Upon arrival, we were given a room with 2 double beds. First problem, we had reserved a room with a King size bed. My husband and I spent the last weekend at the Fitzgerald. You would be better off sleeping in your car. If you are planning a stay at the Fitzgerld in Tunica, don't waste your money. We should have checked TripAdvisor before we made reservations. At check-out we were offered other rooms, but I can not imagine there would have been anything between the 2nd floor and the 7th floor that would have been any better. We cancelled our 2nd night's reservation due to the extremely poor condition of the rooms. There was no difference in the condition of the two rooms. My other sister and her husband were on the 7th floor. I would have been ashamed to even donate such items to charity. I have thrown away better looking furniture than the dusty pieces that were in our room. The beds were uncomfortable, but it did appear that the sheets had been changed. One of my sisters and I were on the 2nd floor in a stinky, dirty room that looked as if the the doors, walls and furniture had not been touched with cleaner since the hotel was built.
When we checked in the grounds and the lobby were nice enough. This had to be the single most regretable stay for me and my family in recent memory.
